Cosigned is a social dining club in Brooklyn, NY. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect through this website, why, and how to get it removed.
What we collect
Only what you type into a form on this site:
- Waitlist forms: your email, and if you add them, your first name, Instagram handle, age range, neighborhood, and whether you're bringing a friend.
- Host application: your name, email, Instagram handle, and what you tell us about your circle.
- Venue inquiry: your name, venue, email, phone number, and which nights are slowest.
- Invite source: if you arrived from a friend's invite link, the first name in that link, so we can seat you together and thank her.
- Referral details: the page you were on, the site that sent you here, and any campaign tags in the link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign).
We don't use cookies for tracking, and this site sets none. If analytics are running, they're cookie-free and aggregate only (Plausible), so we see page counts, not people.
Why we collect it
- To invite you to a dinner or night out, or to follow up on a host application or venue inquiry.
- To keep the room balanced and seat friends together.
- To understand which invitations and links bring people in.
We never sell your details, and we never share them with other guests. A man never learns who cosigned him.
Who processes it
Form submissions are received by our form provider and delivered to us by email and a private spreadsheet. Anonymous page analytics, when enabled, are processed by Plausible Analytics. Each acts on our instructions and stores data in its own secure systems.
How long we keep it
Waitlist and application details are kept while we're active in your area and for up to 24 months after your last contact with us. If you ask us to delete them, we do so within 30 days.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete what we hold about you. Email team@cosigned.nyc from the address you signed up with and we'll confirm when it's done.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and, where we have your email, let you know.
