Every night runs on these rules. They're short because they're not negotiable.

Be curious, not selling

Ask questions and listen. The people everyone wants back are the ones who were good company, not the ones who pitched themselves.

A no is a no

If someone isn't interested, that's the end of it. No follow-ups, no second attempts at the bar, no finding them online afterward.

Matchmakers are paid, and they say so

A matchmaker earns money when an introduction she makes turns into a date. Every introduction discloses that. Nobody is ever paid to talk anyone up or fake enthusiasm.

Cosigns are private

The morning after dinner, each woman privately answers one question per man: would you bring him out with your friends? A man only learns whether he was cosigned, never by whom. Don't ask, and don't guess out loud.

The host is every woman's exit

A look from her and the host pulls her into another conversation, no explanation needed. If you're the one being left, let it go.

One verified report means removal

Every report is reviewed. Men who cross a line don't come back. Anyone who retaliates against a report doesn't either.

Report anything

Tell your host on the night, or email team@cosigned.nyc afterward. You'll never be asked to justify feeling uncomfortable.
